Written on 30 May 2013Pros:Fast cars and chase scenes.
All the old crew are back.
Twists and ending.
Cons:Some unbelievable stunts.
Overall:All the crew are living large in retirement after the score from Fast & Furious 5. They are called back together when Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) who has been killed in a previous film is photographed running with a new crew. Also with the chance of pardons to be able to return to the United States they are willing to help Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) take down this new crew. This storyline provides a good platform for all the fast car chases and crazy stunts done throughout the movie. And fans hanging for this action are not left disappointed with hot cars, fast racing action, crazy tank chase as well as a huge airplane chase, it just keeps getting bigger.
Everyone has returned from the previous movies and they all play their parts throughout. Keeping with what makes this series it does not stray too far away from Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), even with having Dwayne Johnson flexing his muscles throughout, it does not overshadow the performances by everyone else. It works as a good mix of action, story and really fast cars. There are a few "unbelieva
ble" moments, so if you can accept these, then you will get through it just fine. The movie also contains some twists that you don’t see coming and does well in continuing the story when you think that it could be the end. And that ending….. well let's just say that I am really excited for Fast & Furious 7! (Which has been announced!)
