Written on 3 March 2013 Member since 30 June 2011Pros:Interesting twist on the original story of Hansel & Gretel and good action.
Cons:The only witch that was really scary was the very first one. The others weren't as convincing.
Overall:I enjoyed this film which takes you through the traditional storyline of Hansel & Gretel, then makes them bad-ass witch hunters. There is enough in the story to keep you interested right through and some decent twists and turns along the way (I won't tell you and spoil it). Even though some of the twists were a little predictable, and the witches weren't as scary as you think it would be, it's still worth the watch if you're in the mood to see an action/fantasy movie.
