2 hours of action and imaginative fight scenes.

More exploration into John Wick lore.

Need to have an open mind to accept some less than believable moments.

For fans of the John Wick franchise, you know what to expect and number 3 does not disappoint. If you haven’t seen the first 2 then what are you doing reading this? Go and watch them first! I’ll wait…. No not really. The action comes out at you right from the start as it continues on from where the previous film left off with John given an hour before he is excommunicated from the global community of assassins and has a bounty placed on his head rich enough that everyone on every corner is looking to cash in.

You can only imagine the fight scenes involved and it is impressive that someone has imagined everything from using everything at their disposal in scenes involving the library, antique store, horse stable, and high speed motorbike chases. At every turn there is something happening and you are left with not knowing who to trust in this world.

More of the John Wick lore is explored with talisman and markers claimed which give more of a glimpse into his history and delve further into the high table which rule over the global assassin network. Keanu Reeves has found a second coming as an action star as he plays the role well of an expert assassin that can take a beating and give out even more punishment. He is well supported by a good performance from the rest of the cast including Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, Laurence Fishburne, Mark Dacascos, Asia Kate Dillon, and Halle Berry.

You are not given much time to catch your breath during the 2 hours of this film and are left wondering why there are not more movies like this. Let’s hope for John Wick 4, 5, 6 and 7.
