Good visuals showing the large scale of the zombies taking over cities around the world.

Modern zombies that are fast, jump high and hungry.

Ending was very quick. Would be good to see more action before it finished all of a sudden.

The action starts fast in the first 5 minutes of the film with a mystery virus spreading across New York and the world as some fast running, jumping and hungry zombies pour into the streets quickly taking over. This is a welcome change to the usual slow limping zombies of movies gone past. The overhead shots are amazing showing the devastation having on such a large scale.

Pitt holds the movie together with his inquisitive nature to find out the origin of the virus as he travels around the world. His character never seems to be afraid of the zombies and it doesn’t ever really get too scary to make that change. There are the usual moments of things jumping out at you but no blood and guts like in previous zombie flicks. The pace moves at a steady pace and doesn’t get bogged down by any love stories even though he is doing it for his wife and kids. A movie with good visuals and different to have zombies jumping out at you while watching it in 3D, but without the blood and gore of the usual zombie horror flick.
