    Pros:

    Great visual effects.

    Written so well.

    Great performance by Mila Kunis.

    Cons:

    N/A

    Overall:

James Franco plays Oz a conman type magician with an eye for the ladies. When caught in a Twister he ends up in the Land of Oz, where a foretold prophesy sees him as the possible saviour. Other stars include Zach Braff who plays a flying monkey and Mila Kunis as Theodora the Good Witch - one of the three witches that reside in Oz. She gives a memorable performance throughout the movie as one of the most iconic characters.

The movie is such a treat for fans of The Wizard of Oz, even though we know how the movie will end, it does not take away from the magical journey. It is full of fun moments and lines that relate to the first movie with hints of the scarecrow, tin man and cowardly lion. Even the moments in Kansas being in black and white and transitions into colour when he arrives in Oz is a treatment taken from the original film. The story is written so well to explain how things come to be leading into The Wizard of Oz with even a few twists thrown in as well. Great fun for fans of the original and even for first timers exploring the Land of Oz.
