Fun watching Chloe train Gidget to act like a cat.

Perfect role for Harrison Ford to voice Rooster.

The 3 separate storylines kept certain characters apart for a lot of the film and it would have been good to see more interaction between them all in the one story.

The story follows on from the hilarious and successful Secret Life of Pets movie which showed what your pets are getting up to while you are away. Max (voiced by Patton Oswalt) and Duke (Eric Stonestreet) face new challenges when their owner Katie meets a new guy and introduce a new baby to their world. With all the stress and anxiety that has come over Max, he needs to find himself as his owners take the family to a farm. That is where he meets another dog named Rooster who is played by Harrison Ford. And quite easily plays himself in the Rooster character.

While this is happening, Gidget has been tasked with looking after Max’s favourite toy and has lost it in the apartment of an old cat lady. And when I say cat lady, I need to put an emphasis on a lot of cats. So she needs Chloe to train her to be able to act like a cat to rescue the toy.

The third storyline see’s the toughest rabbit that we know from the previous movie, Snowball (voiced by Kevin Hart) has now become very domesticated with his new owner who likes to dress him up. So much so he thinks he is now a super hero. He is visited by Daisy (Tiffany Haddish) and together they venture out to free a mistreated tiger from a cruel circus owner.

The characters and stories themselves are over the top and contain lots of funny moments and situations that will have children and adults alike laughing. Each character in the film are so different and the voice actors do well adding their own personal touch to it. A good follow up of the loveable pets we met in the first movie with the addition of new ones and the different adventures that they have while their owners are away.
