So much action throughout with great visuals.

Performances from Henry Cavill, Russell Crowe and Kevin Costner.

Amy Adams probably not the best choice to play Lois Lane.

Ending came a bit quick for the final battle. Was expecting something more.

With the reboot of such a franchise and the involvement of Christopher Nolan, there is always going to be comparisons of the past movies, and the Batman series. And even though this movie is darker than previous versions, it does deliver with action and excitement.

With a more in-depth introduction to the background of Krypton and with some great visuals a movie could be done on this alone. Fast forward to the life on earth with a grown up Kal-El living a mysterious life, while trying to find himself. It is a welcome change not having to sit through the young childhood with small flashbacks showing various moments in his life.

The action comes thick and fast and just when you think it is over, it starts again. It does do the Superman franchise the justice it deserves with some great performances with some great visuals from all the action that is happening throughout. It never seems to be dragging on with all the action deserving of the super battles. It also has a few Easter Eggs throughout with a few sightings from Lexcorp, television series Smallville, and even the Dark Knight himself. Overall a fun and exciting new start for the franchise.
