How do I submit reviews?

First you need to register (for FREE) as a user, then once you’re signed in, you can write a review by clicking the “Add a review” tab on any existing listing OR “Suggest a Listing” if the business / product you wish to review is not yet listed.

What information can others see about me?

Any visitor to the website can see your reviews, username and profile picture (if you’ve added one).   For further information refer to our Privacy Policy.

How do I report an inappropriate review/content?

Please email us (at support@reviewhaven.com) the listing name, review date, reviewer username and what you believe was inappropriate and we will investigate this as soon as we can.  We will then review the details and if deemed inappropriate and against the Terms & Conditions of the website, we may remove some / all of the content of the review in question.

Are positive and negative reviews published?

Yes – Review Haven encourages people to be completely honest with their feedback, so as to help others make an informed decision.  So it helps to know the good points and those that need to be improved.  We encourage constructive feedback and remind users that reviews published must comply with the Terms & Conditions of this Website.

How should businesses handle negative reviews?

It’s important to understand that you can’t always please every customer, so below are some tips for dealing with any negative reviews:

  • If you want to respond to the review as the owner/authorised representative of the listing, you can do so if you hold a Silver / Gold Package Listing – this enables you to add a comment in response to explain your side of the story.
  • Encourage your other clients to review your business and spread the good word – lots of positive reviews will quickly outweigh a negative review.
  • More recent reviews will appear towards the top of the page so continually encouraging your clients to provide feedback will give you the best idea on how your company is tracking at present.
  • Treat any feedback as an opportunity to better your business – it may very well be the insight you’ve been missing as to what your customers are experiencing and how you can improve in today’s market.

Do reviews ever get removed?

Yes – any reviews submitted on Review Haven must comply with the Terms & Conditions of this website.  Should any breaches of this be reported to us, the review will be subject to our review and if deemed inappropriate and against the Terms & Conditions of the website, we may remove some / all of the content of the review in question.  Any users who breach the Terms & Conditions of this Website, may have their user account blocked.

How do I get a business or product listed so I can review it?

You can get a business or product listed for free so you can review it by:

  • Registering as a user (for FREE) or Sign In if you’re already registered; then
  • Go to “Suggest a Listing” and follow the links to request a FREE Basic Listing.

Note:  Please allow up to 48 hours for the listing to appear on the website while the database updates.   You will be notified by email once the listing is ready for review.

How do I list my business or products?

To list your business or products – it’s as easy as:

  • Check whether your business or product is already listed (if so, refer to “How do I claim a listing?”) otherwise proceed to Step 2;
  • Register as a user (for FREE) or Sign In if you’re already registered; then
  • Go to “Suggest a Listing” and follow the links to request a FREE Basic Listing or to purchase one of our premium packages (Gold/Silver/Bronze).

When will my listing appear on the website?

For Basic Listings – please allow up to 48 hours for your listing to appear on the website while the database updates.   You will be notified by email once the listing is ready for review.

For Paid Listings (Gold/Silver/Bronze) – you are able to set the Status to “live” in your My Account  > My Listings section.

How do I claim a listing for my business / product if it’s already on the website?

Contact Us with your details AND the details of the listing you would like to claim. 

Please note that in order to claim the listing, you must be an authorised representative of the business or the business that owns the product.

 How do I manage my listing?

Once you’ve signed in, you can manage your listing by going to My Account > My Listings.  Here you can access and edit each of your listings.

How do I register as a user?

Click “Register” on the Home page and a pop up box will appear where you enter some quick information to get you started.  Then you’ll be emailed a confirmation of your registration along with a password to log in.

How do I view and change my details/password?

To view your account information, simply sign in to the Website and click on “My Account”.  There you can change your details and/ password (including profile picture, if you’ve added one) in the My Account > My Profile section.  Remember to click “Submit” to save the changes (please allow a few seconds for the change to process).

I’ve forgotten my password – how do I retrieve it?

To easily retrieve your password by email, go to the Home Page and click Sign In > Forgotten Password, then enter your email address and click “Submit”.  An automatic email will be sent to your email address with your password.  Remember to delete the email  once you’ve logged back in – and we encourage you to change your password in “My Account”.

How do I close my account?

I can’t sign into My Account, what do I do?

First try to retrieve your password by clicking Register > Forgotten Password, then follow the prompts to have your password reminder sent to your email address nominated.  Please ensure you use these details to log into the website.   

If further issues are still experienced, please Contact Us with your details (including name, email and details of problem experienced) and we can investigate it for you.
