    Pros:

Close to all the downtown stadiums.

    Friendly staff.

    Cons:

Depending on when you book it can be expensive.

    Wi-Fi costs expensive.

Loud noise from the bar at night.

    Overall:

The Hyatt Regency is located in downtown Houston with close access to the George R. Brown Convention Center, Toyota Center and Minute Maid Park. So whether you are in town for a convention, basketball game or baseball game you will only be a few streets away. On top of the hotel is Spindletop, an award winning revolving restaurant.

The rooms are nicely fitted out and very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful throughout. The main common area is the atrium bar which can become very noisy in the evening which travels up to the rooms above so it is best to have a room as high as possible. Then you only have to worry about the elevators during busy periods, so remember to allow time for that.

Wi-Fi costs $10 per day in your room which can be expensive depending on the length of your stay. There is a Fed-Ex office on the ground floor as well as a great spot for a quick sandwich at any time of the day at “Einstein’s Bagels & More”.
