The Enterprise Hotel

Overall Rating: 5 out of 10 Based on 1 Review

The Enterprise Hotel is ideally situated in the cosmopolitan heart of Kensington, close to the Earls Court and Olympia Exhibition Centres, with easy access to London’s popular West-End theatres and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The high street shops of fashionable Kensington and Knightsbridge are within easy reach. The Earls Court underground station is within walking distance from the hotel and has direct links to London’s Heathrow and Gatwick (via Victoria) Airports.

    Pros:

Located a 2min walk from the Earls Court tube station, and 20min by tube (direct) from London Central, close to Hyde Park and surround attractions (including the Natural History Museum & the V&A museum), 24hr reception, "Left Luggage" facility, restaurant on-site (with most items also available through room service for £2pp)

    Cons:

Small room with openable window or air-con left the room stuffy at times (thought there is a fan and heater at least), uncomfortable bed, little in to way of food-making/storing facilities (only a kettle), shower (which had inconsistent temperature and pressure) was set over a high-set bath, mean a long step out and down to the bathroom floor with no hand-railing provided, no free internet access

    Overall:

Generally the Enterprise Hotel was ok. Staff were generally friendly and helpful, and the location was good, with it being close enough both to London central, tourist locations, and the local main street (which had numerous restaurants, post office, pharmacy and several supermarkets). However, with the limited food storage/preparation facilities, and the badly designed bathroom, I would recommend spending a little extra and finding either a better hotel or one more central.
